We are excited to be in our third year of administering the SRI to our students in Grades 3-7. This assessment tool serves us to measure comprehension growth throughout the school year.
We'll be administering in the months of October, January and June.
Since the implementation of the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act, our school district has made progress in addressing and improving harassment, intimidation and bullying and the school climate and culture by offering training to key personnel and district stakeholders, revising and implementing a district-wide anti-bullying program, and by responding effectively and conscientiously to all alleged incidents of HIB and/or Code of Conduct violations. If you have any questions regarding these scores, please contact Mr. Glenn Clark, District Anti-Bullying Coordinator at 201-337-5822.
Oakland's students in grades three through eight performed well on the 2016 Spring Administration scoring above the state average and the PARCC average in English Language Arts, Math, Algebra, and Geometry! Congratulations!
